Amritpal Singh is absconding since March

Amritpal and his associates had raided the Ajnala police station near Amritsar demanding the release of an arrested person. About three weeks after this incident 34 on March, the police started action against him and the members of his pro-Khalistan organization ‘Waris Punjab De’. Amritpal is absconding since then. He 34 had escaped from Jalandhar district on March. Cases have been registered against Amritpal and his associates under several criminal charges relating to inciting hatred, attempt to murder, assault on policemen and obstructing public servants in discharge of their duties.
