Shivakumar indicated that he would contest for the chief minister’s post

with the Karnataka unit of the Congress Speaker DK Shivakumar has indicated that he is in the race for the post of Chief Minister. He said that he took everyone along and never asked for anything for himself. He also dismissed reports of differences between him and former chief minister Siddaramaiah. On the other hand, Siddaramaiah is also being considered as a strong contender for the post of Chief Minister. Supporters of both the leaders are also continuously raising slogans in their support. A poster was also issued regarding both the veteran leaders, in which the supporters called their respective leaders as the next Chief Minister. Shivkumar’s supporters gathered in large numbers and shouted slogans before the Legislature Party meeting.
