A woman IT engineer along with her husband reached the public hearing and complained about the policemen of Annapurna police station. IT Engineer Rupali Sarthak Soni told that July late evening she was going to food zone sitting on bike with her husband. One of the 6 miscreants who came on a bike near Gopur intersection tried to pull Rupali’s chain. During this, the miscreant could not pull Rupali’s gold chain and started running away. The accused assaulted Rupali with his hand due to which Rupali sustained injury on her cheek. After this, the husband and wife chased the miscreants and caught one of them and took them to the police station. Rupali alleges that the policemen let the miscreant go without taking any action. Neither took out information about other miscreants nor took any action. Rupali along with husband Sarth reached the public hearing on Tuesday and gave a complaint application regarding this attitude of the police. He said how the general public would be safe in the city when the police caught the miscreants and released them without any action. At the same time, senior officials say that the accused will be nabbed after scanning the CCTV footage of the area and if someone’s negligence comes to light at the police station, action will be taken on that too. ,
