New Delhi : 31 Voice of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the case of anti-Sikh riots all over India including Delhi after the assassination of Indira Gandhi on October Congress leader Jagdish Tytler has been summoned to collect the sample. After summons was sent by CBI, Jagdish Tytler said what have I done? He said that if he has any evidence against me, I am ready to be hanged. They also said that this is not a case related to 934 riots, in which they want to take my voice sample, rather it is some other matter.
CBI Summons Tytler
According to a report in news agency Bhasha, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Pul Bangash area of Delhi 934 Congress leader Jagdish Tytler was summoned on Tuesday to take a voice sample in connection with the anti-Sikh riots. CBI officials told that Jagdish Tytler reached Central Forensic Science Laboratory, where further action is going on.
New evidence found by CBI
The report states that the Central Investigation Agency CBI has found new evidence in the 49 year-old anti-Sikh riots case , after which it was necessary to take a sample of Tytler’s voice. Three people were reportedly killed in Pul Bangash area during the riots. Violent attacks were allegedly carried out on the Sikh community in the country after the assassination of the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguards in the year 1984.
