Snowfall in the high altitude and tribal areas of Himachal Pradesh today blocked 120 roads including three national highways. On March 2 and 4, apart from the plains, the Meteorological Department has also issued a ‘yellow’ alert for thunderstorms and lightning in low and medium hilly areas. According to the department, there was 6 cm snowfall in Gondla, 5.5 cm in Kalpa, 4 cm in Khadrala, Keylong and Kukumseri, 3 cm in Kothi and 2 cm in Udaipur on Wednesday.
