The minimum temperature in the national capital Delhi was recorded at 5.3 degree Celsius on Sunday morning, which is three notches below normal. Giving information, the Met Office at Safdarjung said that the minimum temperature in the ridge area was recorded three degrees Celsius less than normal at 4.9 degrees Celsius, making it the coldest place in the capital. Dense to very dense fog was observed over parts of National Capital Region and Haryana, Punjab, West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan. As per IMD forecast, foggy conditions will prevail over these areas during the next few days.
