Mercury is rapidly falling in many states including Jammu-Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand. In these states, the havoc of frost is at its peak in the fourth week of December itself. This has increased the difficulties of the people.
