IMD said in a statement that the maximum temperature is likely to be three to five degrees Celsius above normal over most parts of northwest, central and eastern India during the next five days. The department said that there is no possibility of significant change in the maximum temperature over northwest India during the next two days. However, after this the mercury is expected to rise by two to three degrees Celsius.
