Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla and surrounding areas received hailstorm and rain late on Wednesday night, causing a considerable drop in the temperature of the region. The sky was clear in the morning, but as the day progressed Dense clouds started rolling in and icy winds blew at high speed in the area. In Shimla city suburbs Mashorba mm, Shimla 22 mm, Jogindernagar 9 mm, Sundernagar 6 mm, Bajura 5 mm, Bhuntar 4 mm Mimi, Kufri, Pandoh, Gohar and Mandi recorded 3 mm each, and Banjar, Sunni and Sangla 2 mm each.
