Severe cold continued in Punjab and Haryana even today. Bathinda, Faridkot and Hisar recorded minimum temperatures below zero today. According to the Meteorological Department, it was severe cold in Bathinda and Faridkot of Punjab where the minimum temperature was recorded at minus one degree Celsius. Amritsar recorded a minimum temperature of 1.4 degrees Celsius and Ludhiana recorded 1.6 degrees Celsius. Patiala, Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Moga and Mohali in Punjab recorded minimum temperatures of two degrees Celsius, 2.9 degrees Celsius, 2.8 degrees Celsius, 0.8 degrees Celsius and 6.2 degrees Celsius, respectively.
