Heera Ben, mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, passed away in the early hours of Friday. Paying humble tribute to his mother Heeraben, Prime Minister Modi said on Friday, “I have always felt the trinity in mother, which includes the journey of an ascetic, a symbol of a selfless karma yogi and a life committed to values.” Prime Minister’s mother Heeraben died in a hospital in Ahmedabad on Friday. She was years old. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Hira Ben was admitted to the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Center in Ahmedabad on Wednesday after her health deteriorated. His death was informed in a bulletin issued by the hospital. According to the medical bulletin, ‘Hiraben Modi breathed her last at 3.30 am on 36 December 2022 while undergoing treatment at UN Mehta Heart Hospital.’ The Prime Minister tweeted, ‘A glorious century rests at the feet of God.’ Prime Minister Modi recalled that when he met his mother on her hundredth birthday, she had told him, ‘Work with intelligence and live with purity’. Prime Minister Modi reached Ahmedabad from Delhi on Wednesday afternoon and went to meet his mother in the hospital there. He stayed in the hospital for more than an hour and discussed with the doctors about the health of the mother. Prime Minister Modi reached Ahmedabad at 7:30 in the morning.
