Vaishno Devi: The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday reviewed the security of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Temple in Katra. Deputy Inspector General, Udhampur-Reasi Range Mohammad Suleman Choudhary held a security review meeting of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra. The meeting was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi Amit Gupta, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Commandant, Superintendent of Police Katra, SDPO Katra and officials from Army, Crime Investigation Department (CID), Traffic and District Special Branch. Review of Yatra route, safety and security of pilgrims on daily basis The DIG reviewed every security drill, travel route, safety and security of pilgrims on a daily basis at Mata Vaishno Devi Temple. The Deputy Inspector General of Police also directed for a joint security exercise with the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and other intelligence agencies for the security of the shrine.
