The third theme of the meeting was Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Facilitation of Access in Science and Technology (S&T). Participating countries shared their efforts to facilitate access of under-represented, under-privileged, marginalized, minority communities as well as tribal/native communities to great scientific enterprise. In the session of the meeting, integration of Traditional Knowledge Systems (TKS) into formal system of knowledge through scientific validation process and recognition of the potential of language diversity and removal of barriers to access to scientific knowledge were also discussed.
