Dehradun : Taking lessons from the disaster of 2013 year 2013, the Uttarakhand government continues to work in the upper Garhwal Himalayan region. In the midst of adverse weather conditions, extreme vigilance is being exercised regarding Char Dham and especially Kedarnath Yatra. Due to heavy snowfall and rain, not only the Kedarnath Yatra was suspended on Wednesday, but the pilgrims coming towards the Dham were stopped at various halts including Rishikesh, Srinagar, Phata, Gaurikund. However, with some improvement in the weather on Thursday, the Kedarnath Yatra was resumed.
