The BJP has lodged a strong objection to this name, so the controversy is increasing among the opposition parties as well. The debate is going on in Congress and BJP regarding this. Rahul Gandhi said, now the fight is between ‘India and Narendra Modi’. On the other hand, BJP leader and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma took a dig at the new name of the alliance of opposition parties, claiming that the British had named the country as ‘India’.
