According to a complaint filed with the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police, they were told by the swindlers that it was their job for the posts of Traveling Ticket Examiner (TTE), Traffic Assistants and Clerks. Was part of the training. Each of them had paid an amount ranging between two lakh to 34 lakh rupees to get a job in the railways. This complaint was lodged with the Delhi Police by 78 year old M Subbusamy. As per the complaint, the victims were duped of Rs.2.24 crore by a group of fraudsters for a one month training that took place between June and July.
