On his success, the Madhya Pradesh government honored him with the Vikram Award for the year 2020, the highest sports award. He was given this award for his better performance in Rope Malkhamb. Pooja Malviya, who was awarded the Vikram Award, is a resident of village Piplai (Jaithal) of Ghattiya tehsil. Government announced to give him Vikram Award for the year 2020 but he is currently in America. Therefore, Pooja could not attend the Madhya Pradesh Sports Decoration Ceremony held in Bhopal. So father Badrilal Malviya received the award from Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Sports Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Olympic player Lovlina Borgohain and BJP State President VD Sharma. Pooja is a data analyst in America 2023 Puja is currently in the US Working as a Data Analyst at the University of Texas. There she is not only teaching Malkhamb by joining Malkhamb Federation of USA but also practicing herself. Pooja is in America for the last two years. Pooja is a gold medalist in Rope Malkhamb 2023 Pooja in Rope Malkhamb Gold medalist. Even participating in other events including Got Talent has brought fame to Malkhamb across the country. Pooja Malviya has flown from a small village to America in sports and studies, which in itself is also an inspiration for the youth. Vikram awardee Pooja Malviya is not the only player of Malkhamb. His two brothers Anil and Abhishek Malviya are also national level players of Malkhamb. Presently Anil Malviya is a member of Malkhamb Federation of USA in America and is also training new players here. At the same time, Abhishek is also studying along with sports. Father Badrilal Malviya is a district member in Ghattiya Tehsil and mother Leela Malviya is Sarpanch in village Kadwali. ,
