Collector Kumar Purushottam - Photo: Amar Ujala Expansion While reviewing the tap water schemes of Jal Jeevan Mission, Collector Kumar Purushottam took information about the work done so far across the district and directed the subordinates to complete the work of this scheme within the time limit, otherwise the responsible Strict action will be taken against. In the meeting, the Collector instructed the departmental officers that by the end of April the progress in the district 16 Tap water schemes should be completed and handed over to water committees. In case of May 1, if the schemes are found incomplete, then suspension action will be taken against the concerned sub-engineer. It was told in the meeting that tap water schemes have been approved under Jal Jeevan Mission in total villages in the district. Out of these 414 tap water scheme has been completed. Schools and Anganwadis Tap connection given to 750 The Collector instructed in the meeting that the Assistant Engineer, Deputy Engineer and the Chief Executive Officer of the concerned district should make a joint visit to the villages whose work is incomplete. Get the construction work done. In the meeting, the work of providing tap water in Anganwadi and school was reviewed. In the last month 414 schools and in the district Tap connections have been given for drinking water in Anganwadis. Similarly, the handpump maintenance was also reviewed and the Collector instructed that the time taken to repair the handpump should be reduced. Sarpanch to Secretary Do join the scheme Collector Kumar Purushottam, during the review of the Jal Jeevan Mission, has directed the sub-engineers and assistant engineers of the Public Health Engineering Department to start the Nal Jal Yojana. The scheme should be handed over after taking into confidence the Sarpanch and the Secretary after its completion. ,
