There is a plan to build a pedestrian bridge in the middle of Rudrasagar to connect Mahakal Lok with the forelane of Chardham temple. Here meter long and seven meter wide pedestrian bridge is to be built. According to officials, the work of the bridge has to be done before the next year’s rains. For this, after lowering the water level of Rudrasagar, an earthen base has been made at the bridge construction site. The water of Rudrasagar is divided into two parts. The soil base will be removed after completion of the work.

Due to the bridge, there is no effect on the beauty of the temple and it is also more convenient, for this it has finally been agreed to build an RCC bridge. This bridge will be meter long and seven meters wide. Its sides will be decorated with stones along with concrete. The height of the bridge will be such that because of it the peak of the Mahakal temple will be visible even from the Harsiddhi-Chardham road.

Passengers will be able to move on foot, the crowd near its temple will reduce soon. In case of emergency, disaster relief vehicles will be able to move from the bridge. The central part will be more than 6 meters wide and oval. Passengers will also be able to stay here to see the water curtain show, laser show.
