An old man had gone inside the kund to collect water from the Koti pilgrimage, where he was leaving after filling water in a pot, during which his foot slipped. Regular visitors saved his life by showing promptness during this period.

Thursday morning around 8: 12 o’clock An elderly visitor had gone to the Kotitirtha Kund inside the Mahakal temple to take water. It is being told that these days there is a slippery condition on the stairs due to accumulation of moss. In which the old man slipped and fell into the pool and started calling for help. That’s why Aditya Thakur and Sachin Thakur, regular visitors passing from there immediately reached down and pulled them out. Due to the promptness of the Thakur brothers, a major accident was averted in the Mahakal temple. If there was even a slight mistake, the old man’s life could have been lost. When this topic was discussed with Moolchand Junwal, assistant administrator of Mahakaleshwar temple, he said that these days the work of cleaning the kund is being done by Smart City. There is a ban on everyone even going near the kund, but by mistake the devotees had gone to fill the water of Kotitirtha. Those who have been saved by regular visitors and people engaged in security here.

No information board has been installed The devotees who come to the temple have faith that they should offer the water of crores of pilgrimages to Baba Mahakal. It should be known that the work of beautification of these two categories of pilgrimage is also going on. But in the midst of all this, there is no such information board installed anywhere on the Kund, so that the devotees can get information about the slippery condition of the Kund. ,
