Very few people of the city know that there is such a temple of Lord Shriram in Ram ji ki gali in Bada Sarafa area where there is a moving idol of Lord Shri Ram. In this Lord Shri Ram, Mother Sita, brother Laxman and Hanuman ji along with King Ram appears to the devotees. Temple priest Pandit Ashish Sharma says that this statue built on a single stone is years old and very ancient. This statue came out during excavation from Vishnu Sagar. He told that although every festival is celebrated with enthusiasm and gaiety in the temple, but here on Dussehra there is a special tradition of visiting Ravana after Dahan, which is still followed by the devotees. Pandit Sharma told that on Ramnavami on Thursday, Janam Aarti will be performed in the afternoon along with special worship of God. Chappan bhog will be offered.
