On Thursday evening, the police was engaged in preparations for the security arrangements on the arrival of the Prime Minister of Nepal. Two miscreants took advantage of this in Madhavnagar police station area and Tejaswi husband Vishnu Patidar, who lives in Sethi Nagar (40) carried out the incident of snatching mangalsutra from the neck. Tejashwi is a member of the Bhajan Mandali of the temple built in Laxminagar. In the evening, she had gone to give dholak to the house of the woman involved in the troupe, from where she was coming back to Sethinagar.
Efforts are on to identify the miscreants Madhavnagar police station SI Salman Qureshi told that the incident took place in front of Shrinath restaurant. After the incident, the woman had gone home and told her family members. The family members informed the matter after reaching the police station. Police reached the spot and saw the footage of CCTV cameras. Bike riding miscreants have been seen in the cameras installed at the restaurant. Efforts are being made to identify them.
The miscreants came from a bike without number
According to Tejashwi, the miscreants were riding a Pulsar bike and came from behind. There was no number on the bike, the mangalsutra snatcher had tied a cloth on his face. According to SI Qureshi, a case has been registered in the matter. They are being seen in the smart city cameras installed in the area. The clue of the miscreants will be found soon. ,
