The hotel was sealed by the Municipal Corporation. After which the corporator Roshan Singh himself along with the municipal staff reached the hotels built around the Mahakal temple and checked the fire NOC, after which the corporator gave strict instructions that the hotels which have not received the fire NOC should be sealed immediately. During the inspection, the corporator asked for fire NOCs on three hotels of Mahakal and Begambagh area but all three did not have fire NOCs. The municipal commissioner has ordered the corporation and the fire staff to seal all the three hotels. In this regard, Additional Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Aditya Nagar told that according to the rules of the government, about nine meters Feet Height or Ground Floor Fire NOC is necessary in commercial hotels or hospitals of construction more than square meters. But the hotels or hospitals which come within the radius of nine meters approx 26 feet less, they should get Fire NOC audit and After making arrangements related to other fire, it is necessary to take the certificate of the Municipal Corporation from the fire department in the hotel. If we look at the rules of the Municipal Corporation, then there will be almost % hotels in Ujjain which are under the purview of the Municipal Corporation’s action.
