But, on Saturday, on the Chaturthi of Shravan Shukla Paksha, special adornment was done by applying sandalwood tripund, moon and sun on Baba Mahakal’s head. Whose thousands of devotees have earned benefits by having darshan. The doors of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple were opened at 3 am during the early morning Bhasma Aarti. After anointing Lord Mahakal with water, worship is done with Panchamrit made of milk, curd, ghee, sugar, honey and fruit juices. Baba Mahakal’s king form was divinely decorated with cannabis, sandalwood and dryfruits. After offering ashes to Lord Mahakal, sandalwood tripund, moon and sun were offered. Along with Mukut, silver Mundmal and Rudraksh garland, fragrant flowers of mogra and rose were also offered. After which fruits and sweets were offered to Baba Mahakal. A large number of devotees attended the Bhasma Aarti and took the blessings of Baba Mahakal. After which ashes were offered to Baba Mahakal on behalf of Mahanirvani Akhara. , Sandeep Soni, the administrator of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple, told that thousands of devotees had darshan of Baba Mahakal in the early morning in Bhasmarti at Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple. After which the order of seeing God continues. During the Bhasmaarti, the situation was such that the entire temple complex reverberated with the chanting of Jai Shri Mahakal by the devotees. ,
