Uddhav Thackeray said that Chief Minister Shinde should either resign or demand Patil’s resignation regarding Patil’s statement. Higher and Technical Education Minister in the Eknath Shinde government and senior BJP leader Patil yesterday said that when the mosque in Ayodhya was being demolished by activists of Bajrang Dal and Durga Vahini on December 6, 1992, the Shiv Sena Not a single worker was present with him. He also said that Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut often talks about the demolition of Babri Masjid, but was he in Ayodhya at that time. Patil also took a jibe at Uddhav Thackeray for accusing Chief Minister Shinde of stealing the legacy of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray.
