According to the news, CM Dhami has spoken to the Home Minister regarding the implementation of the Uniform Citizenship Act and cabinet expansion. CM Dhami met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence. There was a discussion between the two leaders regarding many matters of Uttarakhand. Here, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi on Monday. He has requested the Union Minister to provide funds of 1774 crores under special assistance from the Government of India for the Song Dam drinking water project. During the meeting, the Union Minister assured Dhami of all possible cooperation.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s statement on the matter came last days. He has said that after forming the government, we had taken the first decision of Uniform Civil Code. For this we formed a committee in which about 2 lakh 06 after talking to more than thousand people The committee has made its compilation. We are moving towards implementing it soon.
