Pushkar died in a luxury hotel in Delhi

Pushkar 17 was found dead in the suite of a luxury hotel in Delhi on the night of January 2014. The couple was staying at the hotel as renovation work was going on at Tharoor’s official bungalow. Tharoor was charged under provisions of the Indian Penal Code relating to cruelty and abetment to suicide, but was not arrested in the matter. The Congress leader’s lawyer said that there is no evidence against him in the case.
