A transgender couple in Kerala’s Kozhikode shared information about becoming parents on Wednesday. The couple recently shared the information about their pregnancy, which is believed to be the first such case in the country when a trans couple is giving birth to a child. Jiya Paval, a member of the transgender couple, told that the child was born through operation at the Government Medical College and Hospital at 9.30 am. Paul said that both Jahad (mother) and child are healthy.
