Shajia Begum, a resident of Nayi Basti, expressed grief over the incident of cracks on the houses. He said in one of his statements that- I do not want to leave the village, where will we go now? We are completely ruined. We have worked here as small laborers and by doing so have built a home for our children. We appeal to the government to do something for us, I also have a disabled child and where should we go in this situation.
