Reportedly, more than 400 cases of the virus have been detected in India so far - Jharkhand reported the latest case on Sunday. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the H3N2 variant in avian, swine and human viruses and the H1N1 pandemic virus in humans containing genes for the M gene for the first time 2011 was detected. Symptoms include fever, respiratory problems such as cough and runny nose, as well as other symptoms including body aches, nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea.
