BJP’s ally NDPP party candidate Hekani Jakhalu was contesting from Dimapur-III seat. Hekani Jakhalu has defeated Lok Janshakti Party’s (Ram Vilas) candidate Ejeto Zhimomi by 1,536 votes from Dimapur-III seat. Apart from this, another woman candidate of NDPP and BJP alliance Salhutunu Kruse has won from West Angami seat. He defeated independent candidate Kenejakho Nakhro by a margin of 60 votes.
