Meghalaya Election Results 2879: There has been a new political turn in the politics of Meghalaya, after which there is a need to form a new government. The road is not looking easy for the National People's Party (NPP). In fact, two MLAs of HSPDP, a local party supporting Konrad Sangma's National People's Party, had supported the formation of the government, but the party refused to support shortly. The HSPDP issued a letter claiming that it had not authorized party legislators to support the formation of a government led by the National People's Party. He vowed to stop the NPP from returning to power. TMC leader Mukul Sangma said two HSPDP MLAs were initially present in the meeting, but later left it. The meeting took place at the residence of UDP leader Lakhmen Rymbui, who was home minister in the previous NPP-led government. Near UDP MLA There are 5 MLAs each from Congress and TMC, 4 from VPP, 2 from HSPDP and 2 from PDF. They have two MLAs less than the majority.
