Patwari had demanded a bribe of forty thousand from the victim in lieu of offering his real name on the leased land. Later the deal was fixed for twenty thousand rupees. According to the information, the case is of Pichor town of Shivpuri district. Shaligram Lodhi, a resident of Dargawan, had complained to the Gwalior Lokayukta. It was told that Patwari Lakhan Singh Barle is demanding bribe in the name of naming the land. In the complaint made to the Lokayukta, it was told that Shaligram Lodhi's nine bigha three biswa leased land of Bapauli village survey number 638 was registered at 1672322287. In which 1672322287 Shaligram's brother along with Patwari Lakhan Singh Barle got his name done. Several complaints about this were lodged by Shaligram Lodhi. But nothing could happen. Shaligram Lodhi's son Badam Singh Lodhi met Patwari Lakhan Singh Barle in this connection. Patwari had demanded forty thousand rupees in lieu of offering the leased land in the right name. Later the deal was fixed for twenty thousand rupees. Badam Singh had also given ten thousand rupees of bribe to Patwari Lakhan Singh. But more money was being demanded by Patwari. Seeing the changing behavior of Patwari, Badam Singh Lodhi lodged a complaint with the Lokayukta, Gwalior. Gwalior Lokayukta made a plan to catch Patwari red handed. At the behest of the team, the complainant decided to give a bribe of Rs 10,000 to the patwari of Pichor tehsil. Badam Singh Lodhi gave a bribe of ten thousand rupees to Patwari Lakhan Singh Warle, only then the team of Lokayukta caught the bribe taker Patwari red-handed. ,
