Shirdi Bus Accident: The news of a horrific road accident came in Maharashtra on Friday morning. According to media reports, a tourist bus coming from Mumbai to Shirdi had a head-on collision with a truck on the Nashik-Shirdi highway in which total 84 Passengers were on board. 10 people died on the spot while others were injured.
The dead include 7 women, two children and one man. The injured have been admitted to the nearby Saibaba Hospital where the condition of some remains critical. As soon as the information about the accident was received, top officials from the police and administration reached the spot and started rescue operations. The cause of the accident is being ascertained.

Police officials told that the incident took place in Sinnar tehsil of Nashik, about kilometers from Mumbai. It happened at around seven in the morning near Pathare Shivar. According to preliminary information, the dead include seven women, two children and one man. The injured were taken to Sinnar Rural Hospital and Yashwant Hospital. Officials said that the condition of some of the injured is said to be serious, due to which there is a possibility of increasing the death toll.
