मेडिकल कॉलेज में ड्यूटी पर स्टाफ वार्डों में नहीं पहुंचने से अब प्रबंधन ने नर्सिंग कॉलेजों के छात्र-छात्राओं की ड्यूटी मरीजों की देखरेख के लिए लगा दी है। 10 सूत्री मांगों का ज्ञापन प्रबंधन ने भोपाल भेज दिया है, जिसमें विचार चल रहा है। इस विरोध प्रदर्शन मे मेडिकल कॉलेज के साथ साथ जिला अस्पताल एवं सामुदायिक तथा प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में पदस्थ नर्सिंग ऑफिसर भी शामिल हैं।

नर्सिंग ऑफिसर एसोसिएशन की जिला अध्यक्ष मेरीना दास ने बताया की प्रमुख मांगों में नर्सिंग संवर्ग के वेतन व पदनाम विसंगति, ग्रेड पे, रात्रिकालीन आकस्मिक चिकित्सा भत्ता, प्रदेश के चिकित्सा विभाग में स्वशासी अधिकारी कर्मचारियों के वर्ष 2018 के भर्ती नियमों में संसोधन समेत दस सूत्रीय मांगें शामिल हैं।
