27th round meeting on border dispute: This meeting 27 took place on the sidelines of a conference of SCO Defense Ministers in New Delhi on April. A few days before the meeting between the two Defense Ministers, the armies of India and China held 27th round of talks to resolve the border dispute. In the Corps Commander-level talks held on April, the two sides had agreed to remain in close touch and find a mutually acceptable solution to the outstanding issues in eastern Ladakh at the earliest . However, there has been no visible sign of any visible progress towards ending the three-year-old dispute.
