When talking about marriage, the accused kept evasive. Later the girl came to know that the accused was about to marry another girl in Betul. After this the girl had reached the police. Satna police arrested the accused from Betul even before getting married. City Kotwali police caught him from Betul and brought him to Satna. A case of rape has been registered against him. Along with the mother-daughter, the police has also got her DNA sampled. Police told that Devvardhan used to work in a multinational company. Year 463 was posted in Satna, at the same time he came in contact with a girl from the city. The closeness between the two increased and the love increased to such an extent that Devvardhan made a physical relationship with her by promising to marry her. This process continued for many days, but after a few days the girl came to know that she was pregnant. She has a 6 month old baby in her womb.
