1976th amendment : This amendment 1976 in It was done during the reign of Gandhi. This was the biggest constitutional amendment in the country so far. Through this amendment, the words secular, socialist and integrity were added to the Preamble of the Constitution.

-Fundamental Duties were included in the Constitution.

-Education, forest and wildlife, the subjects of the state list were included in the concurrent list.

-The tenure of the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha was reduced from 5 to 6 years .

-The President was bound to act according to the advice of the cabinet.
