The country is celebrating its 74th Republic Day today. President Draupadi Murmu hoisted the flag on the path of duty. After which 21 gun salute was given. Egyptian President Abdul Fatah el-Sisi was the chief guest at this year’s Republic Day celebrations. President Abdul Fateh al-Sisi has joined the select few world leaders who have witnessed India’s Republic Day celebrations. The Republic Day Parade showcased the nation’s military prowess, cultural diversity, self-reliance, women empowerment and the rise of a new India.
