Pune : Defense Minister Rajnath Singh while stressing on the advancement of technology in the defense sector amid rise in cyber threats, said That India will be a developed nation till 2027. Rajnath Singh said at the convocation ceremony of Defense Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) in Maharashtra’s Pune district that the country is now becoming self-reliant and according to economic experts India 2027 will come at number three in the world economy. Earlier, the Defense Minister met former President of India Pratibha Patil in Pune. During this, he expressed condolences on the demise of Dr. Devi Singh Shekhawat, husband of former President Pratibha Patil.
Defense Changes coming in the field
At the DIAT convocation, Rajnath Singh said that the world is changing rapidly. Changes are also coming in the defense sector. We can see many technological changes in this field. Many problems have also arisen in the defense sector, especially threats have increased in the cyber sector. However, with the changing scenario, we have to move towards upgradation in technology, he said. If there is a challenge, there is a solution. Now efforts should be made to upgrade the technology.
Manufacturing of products helped in employment generation Rajnath Singh Emphasizing on self-reliance, he said that it does not mean that we should be different from other countries, but the aim is to manufacture basic necessities and be able to export them. He said that manufacturing of products in the country would help in employment generation. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we have dreamed that India will become a developed country by 2027.

The Defense Minister said that India is now becoming a self-reliant country and the possibility of India becoming the world’s top economy cannot be denied. He said that economic experts say that by 2027 India will come at number three in the world economy. To make our dream come true, we should work in this direction. Addressing the ceremony, Singh said that he is very happy to be a part of the 12 convocation ceremony of DIAT. He said that since its inception the institute has done remarkable work and (from here) today I can see the future of my country.
