He advised Rajnath Singh that the Defense Minister should focus on controlling the volatile situation in Manipur and violence there before giving a statement on the law and order situation in Punjab. Kang said that violence is widespread in Manipur. So far hundreds of people have died and thousands have become homeless, but the central ministers of the Bharatiya Janata Party are doing politics of defaming non-BJP ruled states.
