At present two schemes “Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana” are running in Rajasthan for the general public and “Rajasthan Government Health Scheme” (RGHS) for the employees and pensioners of the state, under which the government For treatment in private hospitals, reimbursement is made as per the rules laid down. According to the Bill, every resident of the state shall have the right to emergency treatment and care “without prepayment” in any “public health institution, health care establishment and designated health care centres”.
