The people of Mali society are agitating for the demand of separate 12 percent reservation in government jobs and educational institutions. For the fifth consecutive day, the Jaipur-Agra National Highway is blocked due to the agitation. Despite a call by Phule Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti convenor Murari Lal Saini to vacate the highway, the protesters had yesterday refused to vacate the highway until an amicable settlement was reached through talks with the government. Later, a committee was formed to hold talks with the government on behalf of the society and the talks are likely to take place in Jaipur today.
