Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced financial assistance of Rs.5 lakh each for the wives and children of both the deceased youths, Junaid and Nasir. After meeting the families of the victims, Gehlot said that ‘the incident is so heart-wrenching that it cannot be expressed in words. The form in which the youths were abducted, the form in which they were beaten up and the form in which they were taken to the police station (in Haryana) and the police station did not accept it.
