Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi Gave a statement regarding a Veer Savarkar in Maharashtra during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. He claimed that Vinayak Damodar Savarkar had helped the British and that he had betrayed Mahatma Gandhi and other contemporary Indian leaders by signing an apology out of fear while in prison.
