A few months back an audio clip surfaced, in which Fauja Singh Sarari is heard allegedly sealing a deal to recover money. Malvinder Singh, chief spokesperson of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), told that Sarari has resigned from his post citing personal reasons. Opposition parties in Punjab were demanding Sarari’s dismissal and arrest over the audio clip. However, Fauja Singh Sarari has denied the allegations leveled against him.
