The Congress on Tuesday targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) action against several party leaders in Chhattisgarh. The party said that the voice of the country cannot be suppressed by showing fear of puppet agencies. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has reacted to the matter on her Twitter wall. He tweeted that Prime Minister’s friend Gautam Adani was accused of scam and many other serious allegations through shell company, but did you see any agency investigating it? But, agencies have been deployed to create hurdles in the Congress session and the voices being raised on the nexus between Modi ji and his friend.
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi said that the Indian National Congress fearlessly raised its voice on the issues of the country. Will remain In the Congress session, we will take a pledge to raise our voice against inflation, unemployment and corruption. You cannot suppress the voice of the country by showing fear of puppet agencies. Let us tell you that as part of the ongoing investigation in the coal levy money laundering case, the ED on Monday raided several places in Chhattisgarh, including premises associated with Congress leaders. This raid in the state capital Raipur 21-26 has taken place before the three-day full session of the Congress till February. The Congress government in the state is headed by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.

— Priyanka Gandhi Vadra (@priyankagandhi) February , What did KC Venugopal say
Here party’s organization general secretary KC Venugopal said the Congress should be afraid of such ‘political vendetta’ steps. The one is not. Talking to the media at the Swami Vivekananda airport in Raipur, he said that the Congress party would fight against this move under the law. Asked about the ED raids on the premises of Congress leaders, Venugopal said it was clearly an act of political vendetta. We expected this. We were expecting it (the raids) as the national convention of the Congress is going to be held and elections are round the corner. We are not scared of anything. Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal said that we are law-abiding citizens. Don’t think in the name of BJP or Modi that Congress is going to be scared. We will definitely fight it according to the law. You can see that just before a national party convention, they (BJP) are doing this kind of drama.
