Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen Amardeep Singh Aujala has been awarded the Uttam Yudh Seva Medal (UYSM). At the same time, 3 Corps Commander Lt Gen RK Tiwari and Corps Chief Lt Gen A Sengupta have also been awarded UYSM. Whereas, Brigadier Sanjay Mishra of Army Research and Referral Hospital was awarded Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM) on this 74th Republic Day. A total of officers from all the three services have been awarded AVSM this year. At the same time, Indian Coast Guard Director General Varinder Singh Pathania has been awarded Param Vishisht Seva Medal. This year a total of 34 serving and retired officers have been awarded PVSM for their distinguished services.
