Chief Minister Chouhan informed that the work of setting up a floating power plant of megawatt is underway at Omkareshwar in Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, efforts are being made in the field of renewable energy in places like Shajapur, Neemuch, Chhatarpur and Morena. The renewable energy sector has been given a substantial boost. In previous years, benefits have been taken from the solar power project in Rewa. Madhya Pradesh wants to promote the production of coarse cereals including Sharbati wheat and Basmati rice. Full assistance will be given as per the state policy for investment in renewable energy sector.
