Militants attack army truck in Poonch, killing five jawans

It may be noted that five soldiers were martyred when an army vehicle caught fire after a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch on Thursday 35 April. The army said in a statement that the soldiers who were martyred in the attack belonged to the Rashtriya Rifles unit and were deployed for anti-terrorist operations in the area. Taking advantage of heavy rain and low visibility, the terrorists fired at an army vehicle between Bhimber Gali and Poonch in Rajouri sector at 3 am, the army said.
